NCAA Tournament

Nebraska went 1-5 against Sweet 16 field.  What's more crazy is that Nebraska played 6 games (Michigan twice) and 5 teams in the Sweet 16.... man our schedule was brutal.

That's prolly why they ended the season the way they did. Gas tank was in empty, and no gas station insight.

I hope not since i may win a pretty nice pool if UCLA also wins tonight. I would also like Wisconsin in the final four so we can say we played three of the four finalists.

I need Kansas to lose so I can get back into things.  I thought Duke looked like they were going to go on one of their end of the years, errrr WRONG

Dodged a bullet with that one.

How so?

Not clamoring for him or saying he's an all star or that we made a mistake on him but don't get how we dodged a bullet.    The guy averaged 12 mpg for a top 10 team.   Think it's safe to say he would have saw time here.   Especially considering our front court depth issues over the last two years.

If you go back and look at his recruiting thread, I was NEVER very high on the kid.  Didn't think he was nearly as good as some of the pundits were trying to make him out to be.  Would MUCH rather have Isaiah Roby.

He might have averaged 12 mpg this season, but in games decided by fewer than 10 pts, that drops to less than 10 mpg.  And from conference season on, a total of 24 games, he averaged only 8.2 minutes and scored exactly 1.0 ppg in those last 24 games.

So, once the shit got real, he was off the radar for the most part.

He was like Arizona's version of Nick Fuller except not quite as productive.

Put it this way, if we'd have gotten Keanu Pinder out of juco, we wouldn't have Isaac Copeland on our roster for next year.  That's the trade-off we made.  Not having the one made room for the other.  I'd take Copeland over Pinder every single time.

If we'd had Pinder on our roster for this year, we still only win 12 games.

And, unlike most jucos, Pinder wasn't hitting stride and getting more minutes as the season progressed; he was getting fewer.
