Does anybody know if you're able to hire this kid to do things like finding the food on the top shelves of your kitchen cabinets, cleaning gutters, or grabbing all of the things stuck in the tree? Just asking for a friend.

I'm wondering if it was imperative that they get the ball down.  Couldn't they have used one of the several balls they were using to try to knock it down?

 

Isn't there a reserve "official ball" just in case something happens to the varsity one?
