Nebraska had a power outage in their last couple of innings as well.

Mistakes and poor execution in so many places tonight.  I feared a sweep would be too much to ask.  Statistically we were up against their best pitcher, and they no doubt are treating this series like their tournament.  Still, minus any one aspect, like another poor start by Hohensee, or Miller doesn't make one or both errors, and we probably escape with a win. Very disappointing night.    Have to refocus and play much better baseball.  GBR!

Noon. That's now 5 games in 4 days for minn and finishing 3 today. Need Purdue to finish game 1 and then a spilt in the doubleheader. For how bad that loss was, we can still pull this off.

In other words: BTN will have crews out there all day to broadcast a big 10 championship deciding series but the first two won't be on television because BTN needs to show Maryland Penn St football from 2014 followed by a show about sandwiches.

Purdue leads 5 - 2 going into the bottom of the 9th. Purdue should have had a run in the top half guy hits a double to right the runner on 1st holds up to see if the ball was going to be caught.
