Minnesota should be forced to complete the third game against Rutgers. It is now 2 years in a row that the Gophers will have 1 less "potential loss/tie" on their resume!!

In all fairness, it's also an opportunity for Minnesota to have one more win as well. I wonder if the Minnesota skipper did the math and determined that playing one additional game with Rutgers wouldn't add value to their Big Ten title chances.

They must have done the analysis, and it seems like two years in a row becomes a bit of a trend.

Not only the game Minny didn't have to play but also the tie game we had. B1G needs to make some changes. Somehow SEC, Big 12 and PAC 12 have all avoided a tie in conf play. Mandate early start times on sundays if that's what it takes.

Yep!  There is no way attempting to complete a game that ends in a tie should count against you if another teams game got cancelled and they do not have to make it up.

In order to win the regular season championship:

If Nebraska wins 3:

- Minnesota must win 2 or fewer

If Nebraska wins 2:

- Minnesota must win 1 or fewer

- Michigan must win 2 or fewer

If Nebraska wins 1:

- Minnesota must win 0

- Michigan must win 1 or fewer

- Indiana would tie for first with 3 wins

If Nebraska wins 0:

- Nebraska does not win the title

I looks from radar that the Minny Purdue may not get played today.

Not that they wouldn't just have a double header over the weekend, but say they aren't able to reschedule one game.

If both Nebraska (3 games) and Minnesota (2 games) swept this weekend, Nebraska would have the edge 72.9% to 72.7% over Minnesota.

My son was looking at their waether last night and said that what we had this week is now what they are getting it now.  They could rain out more than one game.  So I ask do they try to get those games in on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...?
