5 pt game under 5 min.  Good.  We've put ourselves in a position to win despite not playing our best.  Let's crank it up with the starters.

Northwestern is like Iowa football of basketball.

Northwestern has been the aggressor. We haven't. The aggressor wins 95% of the time

Ballgame. Disappointing, but we took some bad shots and had too many unforced TOs to overcome Northwestern's shooting.

 

They severely outplayed with the exception of that first half close.

With how disappointed I've been with our performance, I'm pretty impressed with northwestern. They play very solid D and they set a ton of screens on offense. Makes it tough for young teams like us to have success because it forces the young guys to communicate

And they're shooting better than they normally do. Tough to overcome when your point guard scores 30 points fewer than he did his last game.

OK. Two evenly matched teams. The one with more experience shoots 51 percent from the field, 46 percent from deep and 94 percent from the line. Tough to overcome.
