Now back home where they haven't played well.  This start should have the fans energized.  The team has to continue bringing the energy.  Good opportunity to get at least one before going on the road again.

I'm still getting my head around going 2-0 on the road and having a fairly reasonable shot to start 4-0...  and in first place with two road wins against top 40is rpi teams

I really don't know what to say. Scared the hell out of all 3 of my Great Danes by jumping up screaming and tripping over the coffee table when Maryland's last shot missed (did I mention I had a couple of mimosa's minus the OJ during the game?)

We just beat 2 of the top 4 teams in the conference on the road fellas.  That early schedule paying off big time!

Who was it over in the HCC score contest that gave the same score from the INDY game to todays game.

Major props to Morrow AND Jacobson today.  They were relentless and tough.  Morrow particularly put the team on his back during that 17-0 run by Maryland.  

 

Morrow:  9pts, 7rb (a couple HUGE offensive boards again, including that last jump ball)

Jacobson:  10pts, 9rb

 

These guys have really made the game ugly inside the last two games.  Their ability to be bruisers to the final minute is a testament to their remarkable offseason conditioning and muscle gain.  Morrow's dunk to spark our run was ALL HEART.

We ended up with three of the top four rebounders today. 

 

A lot lot of those came late when it mattered, I suspect.

Once again, we're now rotating our top 8 players, and they are high-end conference talent.  They are too talented to be blown out by anyone is the B1G this year.  I can't believe I just typed that.

Per Rosenthal it was 1979-80 versus Iowa St. and Colorado.

Consecutive road wins at Indiana and at Maryland is the kind of 2 game stretch that can spark a serious run in conference play.
