2017-18 Husker opponents

Did anyone else see the Illinois coach go after his player at the end of the game.  Illinois missed four straight free throws down the stretch, but an Illinois player appeared to push down an Indiana player after the last miss.  Coach had a meltdown.  My question to the coach, why in the heck did you have anyone there???  All four remaining players should have been stationed far away from any Indiana player!

I did see that. Cmon coach you just won your first game, celebrate with the team, you want them to want to win.

You can have that discussion another day in film session.

Don't look now but Penn State is leading Ohio State (in Columbus) by 5 points with 15 minutes left in the game...and Keita Bates-Diop just picked up his 4th foul!!!

:o

This would be good for us, I think. We play Penn State twice, Ohio State once; we didn't beat OSU so them losing does not hurt a quality win; and heck, Ohio State losing could MAYBE bring them down closer to us in the Big Ten seeding.

Yep. And if PSU gets any bubble ideas, a loss at PBA will take care of that.

Wanna know how Penn State pulled off the upset tonight?  Hitting damn near 80% of your 3 point shots will probably do it:

That was our plan too. Turns out hitting 27.5% of your 29 three's isn't a recipe for success.

ESPN is prepping a report on sexual assaults and violence against women throughout Mich St athletic program, including football and men's hoops. Nothing new, but being revisited in wake of Nasser crimes.

Athletic Director resigned today at MSU.

This story could end up being big trouble for a couple of long-time coaches there.
