The 2016 Transfer Thread

Not a troll, the whole Kelley clan is from Inman. Been stranded in SEC country most of my life, but my mom and Grandpa had the good sense to raise me as a Husker. When I was in college, mid 90s, I'm getting old, I was driving to the Big 8/Big 12 conference tournaments even as UK was tearing it up. I have read these boards for years, but sense the tide is turning against Miles, and that should not happen. I might be wrong on the transfer, but I'm not trying to mislead anyone. I'm Red all the way through. Just for fun, check Jordy T's twitter and see who his best friend is. Just saying....

I think I know who you're talking about... Dallas area? Are he and Jordy a package deal? That would not suck.
Is this really a possibility LK1? So you're thinking Link is the transfer huskerinkentucky thinks we will be landing in 3-4 weeks?

Huskerinkentucky, can you say whether the guy you are referencing is JUCO vs. regular transfer? When you say "transfer" I assume D1 transfer and would expect a JUCO guy to be labeled as such even though he is still a transfer.

Remember when Mizzou had those identical twin brothers, Sammie and Simeon Haley, who were both 7 footers?  They were highly touted but when they actually got to college, they were terrible.  I used to joke that they were like having 1 7ft kid with 10 fouls to give.  Because that's about what you got out of them.

FTR, I was never down with Link.  Unimpressive film, was glad he ended up somewhere else.  And his first year in college at TCU was pedestrian at best, averaging just over 4 minutes, 1 point and 1 rebound per game.

Granted his NJCAA numbers are much better, but they should be.  Eleven boards/game is pretty good, but less than double-figure points is not a good sign.

I'm hoping this isn't a package deal.  I'm hoping the really, really good news on the transfer front had to do with a mystery big man from Louisville, KY.   I'll be disappointed if the really, really good news on the transfer front has to do with a kid from Blinn College in Texas.  Just sayin.

I knew that Link & Jordy were related, and never really even considered that Link was the "transfer." Guess we'll find out one way or another before too long... until then, here's another 6'-9" 230# fish in the sea:

Guess I read into Huskerinkentucky's hint that Jordy T's best friend on Twitter was the transfer target. Must have been wrong about that. I assumed that Link was that best friend on Twitter.

No, I don't think you're necessarily wrong. I'm just not that into Link on Big Red. But, if he gets us Jordy, then sure, let's do it! GBR

Got it. I'm with you. Would love Jordy and the center from Louisville!

I looked up Link Kabadyundi at Blinn Junior College. He played the first 17 games then went off the radar. Must have been injured or something else. In those first 17 games he averaged 9 ppg, 11 rpg and almost 4 blocks for a team that was 22-9 overall. Not bad.

Link's final game played for Blinn was January 20 which happened to also be the last day for dropping/adding classes for 2nd semester on their academic calendar....so I wonder if he wasn't with the team 2nd semester or if he just happened to get injured after that
